About CMSUK
CMSUK is entering a new and exciting era, and we are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Education Officer to join our friendly and committed team.
The Education Officer will play an important role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality professional development and educational programmes for CMSUK members.
This is a varied role involving webinars, study days, conferences, educational forums and other learning initiatives. You will work closely with members, speakers, educators, corporate partners, committees and the wider CMSUK team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate educational programmes, webinars, conferences, study days and other learning activities.
- Act as a key point of contact for speakers, presenters, educational partners and other stakeholders.
- Manage registrations, attendance records, educational resources and programme documentation.
- Support the development and delivery of CPD and professional development opportunities.
- Coordinate communications relating to educational activities and learning opportunities.
- Collect and analyse feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Produce reports on attendance, engagement and educational outcomes.
- Support committees and working groups involved in education and professional development.
- Assist with the implementation of CMSUK's education strategy.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident in managing multiple priorities. You will have:
- Experience in an education, training, programme coordination, membership, events or administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience coordinating meetings, webinars, events or learning activities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 applications.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
- A proactive approach and a commitment to delivering an excellent member experience.
Desirable Experience
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
- Working within a healthcare, charity, membership or professional body environment.
- Supporting CPD, accreditation or professional development programmes.
- Working with speakers, educators, faculty members or subject matter experts.
- Using CRM systems, webinar platforms, learning management systems or event management software.
- Producing participation, engagement or evaluation reports.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be willing and able to travel nationally to support conferences, study days, networking events and other CMSUK activities.
The role includes occasional overnight stays and some flexibility to attend events outside normal working hours when required.
