About The Role
A key part of L.E.K.'s mission is a commitment to the professional development of our staff. Reporting to the Global Director for Partner Learning & Development, the Partner L&D Senior Specialist will be a dedicated resource supporting the design and execution of L&D programmes for Partners and senior executives across L.E.K. globally.
The role will collaborate closely with the Global Director, regional L&D leads, and senior stakeholders across the firm to deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences for the firm's Partner population. This position exists within the People Team organisation and is critical to L.E.K.'s strategic ambition to invest in the development of its most senior consulting talent.
Responsibilities
Partner programme design & delivery
- Support the end-to-end design and delivery of Partner learning journeys, from initial planning through to execution, follow-up, and continuous improvement
- Schedule, coordinate, and run peer learning sessions for Partners, ensuring seamless logistics and a high-quality participant experience
- Design and develop supporting materials for Partner programmes, including session guides, facilitator notes, and presentation slides
- Design both in-person and virtual learning sessions, tailoring format and content to a senior audience
- Utilise instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create learner-centred experiences appropriate for a Partner audience
- Track participation, gather feedback, and translate findings into actionable improvements for future programmes
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting on programme activities, engagement, and return on investment, providing the Global Director with regular updates and insight to inform programme strategy
Partner communications & engagement
- Create and distribute newsletters and communications to engage Partners on the latest insights, research, and L&D offerings
- Maintain and update the Partner L&D online portal, including uploading bite-sized learning content, curating resources, and ensuring the platform remains current and user-friendly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Partners and their executive assistants to support scheduling and engagement
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging thinking relevant to senior leadership development
People Team and L.E.K. citizenship
- Support the broader goals of the People Team and firm-wide L.E.K. initiatives
- Collaborate with the Content Design team and other L&D colleagues to ensure Partner programme materials meet quality and brand standards
- Maintain unwavering confidentiality with People Team and personal information
- Exhibit a visible footprint and leadership within the firm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of L&D, programme management, or related experience, ideally in a professional services environment
- Experience designing and delivering learning programmes for senior or executive audiences
- Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and assessment techniques
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage complex scheduling across multiple stakeholders and time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling newsletters, communications, and learning content for a senior audience
- Experience building, updating, and maintaining online platforms or portals (e.g., LMS, SharePoint, intranet sites, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the firm, including Managing Directors and Partners
- Professional, discreet, and demonstrates integrity at all times
- Technology savvy with ability and desire to learn new tools and platforms
- High proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work flexibly across time zones, in particular maintaining regular overlap with stakeholders across European and US time zones
