Dartmouth Partners is working with a market-leading insurance business to hire a talented Learning & Development Lead. In this pivotal role, you will drive the design and implementation of L&D initiatives across the entire group.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing Learning Mechanisms:
- Collaborate closely with HRBPs to create effective learning delivery mechanisms.
- Ensure seamless service to clients across the business.
- Develop internal delivery capability or establish partnerships with external suppliers.
Learning Delivery Channels:
- Be accountable for building and utilising learning delivery channels and platforms.
Team Building and Culture:
- Build and lead a high-performing, client-centric Learning & Development team.
- Align with the HR Operating Model to foster a collaborative culture.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Lead specific, high-profile L&D initiatives that drive growth.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of learning products.
Innovation and Sector Leadership:
- Scan the internal and external landscape for innovative learning opportunities.
- Position the business as a sector leader in career and professional development to be an employer of choice.
Desired experience:
- An experienced learning professional, and self-starter with significant experience in a senior learning and development role
- Ability to establish professional capability quickly whilst ensuring an open and consultative mindset
- Successful track record in building and establishing a learning service offering and designing the infrastructure to support this
- Client and delivery focus with impeccable stakeholder management skills and a solution-focused mindset.
