Responsible for developing the overall framework and design of learning experiences and using learning data to inform continuous improvement. This role ensures course content is aligned with set standards, established learning objectives, company goals and values, and the learner needs. This also ensures that courses are designed to be an effective and engaging experience for employees. 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of learners. 
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. 
  • Develops or advises on the overall framework, design, strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements; collaborates with Business lines to establish objectives and goals of learning programs. 
  • Working with SME’s and collaborating across multiple teams
  • Craft LX artifacts (experience maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes) to guide development and research Creates mock-ups, scripts, or storyboard for digital assets, including video, e-learning, articles, job aids, learning environments, etc. 
  • Collaborates with the Learning Delivery team to execute courses, and maintains existing learning programs, ensuring up-to-date learning materials, training clarity etc. 
  • Tracks and reports on training activities to ensure program effectiveness; gathers and analyzes data to identify opportunities to improve/enhance learning experiences. 
  • Champion usability and accessibility 
  • Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. 
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or related field preferred 
  • Previous experience designing digital instructional activities to support adult learners in online environments. 
  • Previous experience in an Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design role preferred Provides performance consultation to achieve business goals by maximizing the performance of people and the business. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Proven teamwork capabilities 
  • UX Design education
  • Experience with video and audio editing tools
  • Practiced experience experimenting with generative AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT to gain knowledge of prompting techniques and best practices.
  • Experiencing creating on-line technical product enablement content in a rapid development environment (please be prepared to share examples of your work)
  • High competency with Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline) and Adobe Creative Cloud

Dimensions

  • The Learning Experience designer supports the planning, execution, and implementation of multiple Learning & Development projects/initiatives for Contact Centres.
  • The incumbent is evaluated based on the success of achieving each project/initiative accurately, on time, and in scope.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
  • The incumbent must work under tight deadlines, conflicting priorities and changing project requirements.
