The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our London office for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our people function. Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of our top performers and our leadership team.
You will immerse yourself in our business, complete TNA's to identify what is required to deliver against our strategic growth goals and build strong relationships within the business across all brands and locations, both operations and sales teams, to ensure a full service and support is offered to management in the on-boarding and progression of all our more experienced team members.
As a L&D Specialist in our business, you will:
- Be a trusted partner to the business and our point of expertise in the ongoing development and elevation of our more experienced employees, with a focus on our top performers and leadership teams
- Drive the learning and development strategy forward to achieve our organisational goals and high performance culture
- Design, develop, and implement a variety of learning programs, including instructor-led training, eLearning modules, and blended learning solutions.
- 121 coaching with our leadership team members on their personal development plans
- Run training sessions with the management team regarding onboarding their people, ongoing development and coaching them in best practice and working collaboratively to resolve any issues
- Demonstrate confident and engaging communication skills and coaching capabilities
- Develop reporting tools and use key metrics to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs, demonstrating the impact on employee performance and business results
- Manage L&D administrative work, including data entry into the LMS, and create paperwork and documentation as necessary
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development
The Person
- 3-6 years experience working within an L&D team in a fast paced recruitment environment delivering both face to face workshops and online learning sessions
- A passion for sales training and an ability to inspire and motivate others
- Demonstrated success in managing the induction, onboarding and development of new starters and employees at different levels of seniority
- Previous experience in the design, development and implementation of management/leadership training programmes
- Excellent working knowledge of L&D practices and techniques
- Competent managing L&D administrative work, including data entry into LMS systems, creating paperwork and impact reports
- A passion for working within a project led environment that requires strong planning and prioritisation skills
- An ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships with and influence senior stakeholders
