Learning & Enablement Director

As Learning and Enablement Director, you will report to the Director of Program Office. The Learning and Enablement Director will define inriver’s Learning Strategy and lead a team of Academy learning designers in deploying training solutions for customers, partners & employees. You will also be accountable for enabling the organisations adoption of various continuous improvement initiatives with a range of training and coaching solutions.

You will be the principal owner of our LMS system capability and will be responsible for developing and implementing improvements that drive productivity of learning and enablement creation and audience consumption.

This position could be based in Malmö, Stockholm or Amsterdam.

Responsibilities:

Training Strategy and Planning:

  • Own and lead inriver curriculum steering committee
  • Lead a team of designers in the development and delivery of comprehensive training packages for customers, partners, and inriverians.
  • Create enablement strategies that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.


Program Development and Implementation:

  • Design and implement training programs that align with commercial business goals and operational objectives.
  • Build training & enablement programmes that deliver value across a range of roles both internally & externally to maximise return on investment.
  • Utilize LeanSixSigma methodology to ensure training initiatives address specific skill gaps and contribute to overall employee development


Leadership and Coaching:

  • Provide leadership to a direct and matrix cross-functional team
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their training delivery and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.


Continuous Improvement & Sustainment:

  • Establish assessment standards and benchmarks to evaluate the success of training initiatives and packages.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance metrics.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Service Delivery & Support, Commercial and ELT.
  • Communicate training initiatives, progress, and outcomes to department heads and leadership teams.
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years international experience related to Training & Development. Expert knowledge of established and contemporary training principals and methodologies
  • 3+years experience managing an online platform (LMS)
  • Accreditation to a recognized professional, regional body related to training and development
  • Business Management, LeanSixSigma Green Belt or Higher qualification is desirable
  • Degree in Technical Communications, Technical Training, or another relevant field is a plus

  • Creative and broad approach to developing training solutions
  • Advanced level communications skills with emphasis on presentation at executive board level and the ability to describe complex and technical topics effectively and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Eagerness to understand our customer’s problem and support them in implementing the best inriver PIM
  • Resourceful with a curious and persistent approach to issue resolution
