C4i Training and Technology Inc is looking for a Intermediate Multimedia Developer with experience in eLearning to join our remote first team. Ideally, this candidate enjoys working in a remote start-up atmosphere, articulate with an extremely strong grasp of the English language, competitive, driven, eager, quick thinking, results driven, excellent time, and project management tendencies. The ideal has an entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in learning and development specifically eLearning. Projects the candidate may be working on include graphics, screen recordings and videos used in Training Aids, Aide Memoires, Storyboards for eLearning, VILT and ILT curriculums and User Guides. It is mandatory that candidates have experience in development of visual assets including videos and animations and would be an asset to have experience in development of 3D renderings and AR/VR.
From a professional perspective, the ideal candidate has a University Degree in related field such as web-based development, computer modeling and animation, computer science, etc. Consideration will be given to those with two-year College diplomas with reasonable experience. As this is a training focused role, the ideal candidate would be familiar with some instructional design concepts that are used in training development including*:

Responsibilities:
The Intermediate Multimedia Developer actively participates in the following activities:
· Design and develop detailed storyboards and prototypes that articulate the vision for multimedia projects.
o Employ gamification and serious gaming techniques to design compelling learning experiences.
o Formulate content strategies that utilize multimedia for maximum educational impact, including designing Level 1 to Level 4 engagement strategies tailored to project budgets.
· Ensure alignment with the Instructional Designer's vision and subject matter experts' (SME) insights to create cohesive and effective learning experiences.
· Integrate adult learning theories and principles into multimedia content design.
· Ensure all content is accessible, meeting WCAG and Section 508 standards.
· Work closely with Instructional Designers to align multimedia with learning objectives and critical path.
· Produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, infographics, 3D models and animations.
· Innovate with AR/VR, 360 and mixed reality to create immersive learning experiences.
· Manage LMS integration and ensure SCORM and LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) compliance for seamless system communication.
· Use HTML/CSS for interactive web content and ensure smooth integration with learning tools.
· Stay updated with e-learning technologies like game-based learning and AI, evaluating their potential for learning enhancement.
· Implement interactive elements in multimedia content to suit various learning styles using UDL (Universal Design for Learning) principles.
· Utilize diverse tools and activities to maintain high learner engagement and participation.
· Conduct quality assurance and user testing to refine multimedia content to ensure course effectiveness.
· Apply ADDIE principles of design and development within an AGILE/SCRUM framework to enhance collaboration and streamline project delivery.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate MUST have experience in:
· A minimum of four (4) years work experience in development of courseware, animations, and video development (Vyond, Camtasia);
· MUST have demonstrated experience with SABA within the last 36 months;
· Developed SCORM compliant eLearning modules using Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline 360 and/or Captivate;
· Has an excellent knowledge of accessibility requirements including WCAG 2.1, and has knowledge on The Accessible Canada Act; and
· Handling multiple projects at one time.

The ideal candidate MUST have knowledge in:
· Graphic design and content development software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline 360, Lectora/Saba Publisher, Captivate, Camtasia;
· Produce eLearning products, demonstrated through work experience in creating learning objects/assets/animations;
· Standards and Specifications (typically SCORM and TinCan API) for content packages to be deployed to a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Record Store (LRS); and
· Must have developed at least five (5) computer based or web based e-learning courses, or at least five (5) modules within computer based or web based e-learning courses within the last four (4) years.
