This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, or Milford, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
The Learning Data and Insights Leader will serve as the authority on Learning analytics and methodology for GM. Their primary focus is connecting learning outcomes with business objectives and proving impact to program stakeholders. This role will report to the Global Head of Learning Operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Establishes a learning measurement methodology along with related processes and tools that will serve as the foundation for assessing the impact of GM learning programs
- Develops and manages the delivery of measurement training to functional learning advisors in order that they can appropriately implement the methodology, processes, and tools
- Fosters a relationship with functional learning advisers to clearly connect business goals to anticipated measured results
- Consults on best practices of learning measurements during all aspects of the design process
- Leads a team of data analysts to support continued measurement efforts for the enterprise
- Creates continued partnerships with adjacent GM analytics teams and organizations
- Manages data integration points from various internal and external systems
- Continually assesses the operational effectiveness of training and development to deliver service, reevaluate approaches, and introduce innovations to change processes that are ineffective.
- Prepares and presents learning insights to leadership in support of company goals
Management Responsibilities:
This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years in a global learning team
- 2+ years leading people
- Proficient data analytics skills (process and program level)
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience :
- Master’s degree
- Prior experience in Enterprise Metrics
- Experience preparing and presenting insights to Sr. Leadership
