The Senior Manager of Learning & Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning culture of our hospitality group by overseeing the development and execution of our primary learning and development programs. Working closely with the Director of Learning & Development, you will lead a team of instructional designers and field trainers to strategize, implement, and evaluate key learning initiatives across the organization. Senior Manager Of Learning & Development Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with our culture and business objectives.
  • Create high-potential leadership programs to drive succession planning and talent development.
  • Design engaging and effective training materials for various delivery formats, including in-person sessions, e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions.
  • Establish metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject-matter experts to ensure alignment with business needs and priorities.
  • Provide support and guidance to the learning and development team, including assisting with training delivery and content development.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and training content, including reporting and analysis of program performance.
  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to expand and enhance training offerings, including Train the Trainer and leadership development programs.
  • Travel occasionally to our locations within North America to support training initiatives and new restaurant openings.

Senior Manager Of Learning & Development Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the ADDIE Model of Instructional Design
  • Have managed a team of 3–6 persons
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize LMS reporting capabilities for program evaluation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the US.
