How You’ll Make An Impact

If you’re passionate about designing, innovating and building progressive programs that amplify employee growth, SiriusXM is looking for someone like you. As a Learning & Development Manager, you will report to the Senior Director, Talent Enablement playing a crucial role in shaping training and professional development programs as part of SiriusXM University. Your creative approach to designing engaging learning solutions and leading both virtual and in-person sessions will foster a culture of continuous learning and empower our employees to reach their full potential. You will both lead as an expert and work as part of a team to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and implement strategies that align with our company goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and scale innovative learning and development solutions in partnership with subject matter experts across the enterprise. Example solutions may include eLearnings, videos, education sessions, resource documents, and webinars.
  • Develop and deploy best-in-class eLearning, webinars, live training sessions, team-building events, and workshops that engage learners and drive performance improvement.
  • Consult, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders to assess learning needs, implement learning strategies, and when needed, challenge and push back to strengthen the impact of initiatives.
  • Rapidly incorporate feedback from key stakeholders into overall design, vision and output.
  • Manage, coordinate and track programs and related attendance, leveraging internal tools, including our learning management system (LMS) and performance systems.
  • Partner with external vendors and providers to build high-quality learning materials and programming.
  • Incorporate emerging trends in learning technologies and methodologies, including generative AI tools.
  • Use established feedback loops and data + insights mechanisms to understand and report on the value and effectiveness of engagement solutions.
  • Support the enterprise-wide performance management program and performance management activities to build both employee and manager skills related to goal setting, career development conversations, ongoing feedback and performance discussions.
  • Share information, answer questions, solve problems, and raise issues as necessary to promote an environment of teamwork and collaboration.

What You’ll Need

  • At least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development and/or Leadership Development and Performance Management.
  • Deep understanding of learning strategy, needs analysis, program design, curriculum design, instructional design, learning evaluation, e-learning, facilitation, competency design, and competency assessment.
  • Experience thinking strategically, offering creative solutions, and challenging the status quo on large scale initiatives.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven project management experience and the ability to manage and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization with a track record of successfully collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, including coming into the office several days/week and travel as required to various office locations to facilitate in-person training sessions.
  • Proficiency in:
    • eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise or similar)
    • Working with learning management systems (Workday LMS desired)
    • Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
