The team..
The Resourcing & Development (R&D) Team sits at the heart of our People function, shaping how we nurture, engage, and inspire talent across ITV. We are a collaborative, agile, and supportive team dedicated to building a culture where colleagues feel empowered to grow, adapt, and build meaningful careers. We focus on creating high-impact learning experiences, fostering wellbeing and resilience, and supporting our teams through periods of business change.
The role..
We’re looking for a People Development Coordinator -Learning, Development & Wellbeing to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. You will provide critical coordination and tracking for a programme designed to help our line managers and colleagues build their careers. Your core purpose will be working with the People Development Manager to keep this initiative structured, visible, and running smoothly—helping our teams build resilience, focus on their wellbeing, and develop future skills.
While your primary focus is keeping this specific programme on track, you will also be a core part of the wider People Development team. You will connect the dots between our project-specific support and our day-to-day operations, helping with wider team events, flagship initiatives, financial admin, and operational tasks when needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in project coordination or Learning & Development who enjoys balancing structured tracking with a practical, helpful approach.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining project plans, timelines, action logs, trackers, and risk logs to ensure full team visibility across all project activities.
- Scheduling and coordinating virtual and face-to-face workshops, interactive labs, check-ins, and coaching circles across different colleague groups.
- Managing event logistics, including invitations, calendars, attendee lists, waitlists, joining instructions, and post-session follow-ups.
- Providing hands-on virtual support during online sessions—managing breakout rooms, polls, attendance tracking, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal facilitators, participants, key stakeholders, and external partners.
- Managing and updating digital learning portals, shared drives, slides, participant workbooks, and facilitator resources.
- Coordinating pre- and post-workshop evaluation forms, compiling feedback data, and turning qualitative/quantitative insights into simple visual reports.
- Writing clear, warm, and engaging communications for managers and colleagues to promote learning opportunities and campaigns.
- Supporting wider team operations, including basic financial admin (raising Purchase Orders, tracking spend), preparing presentation materials, and providing cover for the wider R&D team when needed.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify operational processes and creating simple templates or checklists to help the team work consistently.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven experience in project coordination within a Learning & Development environment.
- Strong planning, time-management, and prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and meet strict deadlines.
- A methodical approach to accuracy, especially when handling feedback data or managing document version control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a clear, structured, professional, and approachable manner.
- Experience working with learning management systems (LMS), booking platforms, internal communication portals, or HR databases (experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus).
- Proficient in Google Suite applications (Calendar, Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets) with comfortable data-tracking and basic spreadsheet skills.
- Able to work independently, use your initiative to solve everyday operational problems, and handle sensitive or confidential information with care.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- A collaborative approach with the confidence to build trusted, professional relationships with colleagues across all organisational levels.
- Ability to shift smoothly between structured project tracking and general operational support, helping where the team needs it most.
- A basic understanding of workplace adult learning, how to measure learning success beyond attendance numbers, and how to turn feedback into actionable reports.
- Experience creating simple, clear dashboards or visual summaries to showcase programme engagement.
- Flexibility when priorities shift, keeping a calm, constructive presence during change, alongside a genuine interest in employee experience, wellbeing, and personal growth.
Potential Challenges
- Travel will be expected nationally to support learning events; there may be periods where travel is required a few days a week and other periods with no travel, so personal flexibility is essential.
Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date. We’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if interested.
