R&D Knowledge and Learning Manager
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. As an R&D Knowledge and Learning manager, your primary responsibility is to support the development and execution of educational content for pre-congress calls and related events. You will work closely with the learning professionals across Therapeutic Areas to create learning resources and ensure that the learning materials are engaging and informative. This role requires a blend of project management, cross functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with cross functional team and the learning professionals across therapeutic areas to gather information and insights for content creation.
- Design and develop learning resources to support programs across therapeutic areas.
- Manage timelines and deadlines for content creation, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain organized documentation of content versions, updates, and feedback.
- Incorporate interactive elements and implement strategies to enhance participant engagement for resources used during learning calls.
- Utilize various instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collect feedback from participants and use it to continuously improve the quality of learning materials.
- The successful candidate will work closely with internal (e.g., Global Medical, Global Scientific Communications, Medical Science Liaisons, Knowledge and Learning Professionals) and external groups (e.g., suppliers, opinion leaders) to develop and execute these learning resources.
- Some travel may be required—usually 20%.
What we expect of you
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The dynamic professional we seek is a Manager with these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience or
- Master’s degree and 5 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience or
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of clinical and/or scientific affairs experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- A professional degree of Pharm.D., or MD/DO or PhD in a relevant medical science field (eg, biology, chemistry, pharmacology) with 5 or more years of biotech/pharmaceutical and /or clinical experience
- Understanding of learning methodology and design
- Excellent technical writing, oral, presentation, and project management skills and the ability to search, critically analyze, and summarize scientific literature
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process and knowledge of the legal and regulatory guidelines affecting promotion of prescription products
- Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is provided below.
