Learning and Development Co-ordinator - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG
Salary - £25,000 pro rata

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity of up to 16 hours per week. Our core hours are 10am–3pm, but we’re happy to tailor a working pattern that suits your lifestyle—making it easier to balance work with other commitments.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Hobbylearn platform, ensuring learning content is up to date, relevant, and engaging, including uploading new courses and refreshing front-page content.
- Create and manage a monthly L&D dashboard, analysing training data such as attendance, completion, and engagement to inform decision-making.
- Establish and maintain version control processes and content ownership for all learning materials to support annual review cycles.
- Manage the L&D inbox, responding promptly to queries and requests relating to reporting, learning assignments, and learner access.
- Coordinate learner lifecycle activity, including activation/deactivation based on payroll reports (e.g. maternity and long-term sickness).
- Support apprenticeship programmes by providing information to stakeholders, assisting with onboarding, and supporting graduation and alumni activity.
- Coordinate training sessions end-to-end, including invitations, joining instructions, reminders, attendance tracking, and evaluation processes.
- Analyse training effectiveness through feedback and participation metrics, contributing insights to the L&D dashboard.
- Support the planning and delivery of key L&D events (e.g. National Apprenticeship Week), including resource creation and coordination.
- Collaborate with the L&D Manager to plan and deliver the annual training calendar and learning initiatives.
- Curate and source high-quality external learning materials to enhance internal offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners (e.g. Retail Trust) to maximise learning opportunities for colleagues.
- Ensure consistency in branding and presentation across all L&D materials.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development, HR, or coordination/support role
- Experience managing learning platforms or digital systems
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Experience coordinating training or events (virtual or face-to-face)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to respond effectively to stakeholder queries
- Ability to analyse data and produce reports or dashboards
