Job Summary
In this role as a Corporate Finance Expert supporting AI Training and evaluation initiatives, you will apply your expertise in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, valuation, and financial modeling to help improve next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world financial analysis and transaction-related workflows.
This is an hourly-paid contract opportunity, not a traditional full-time corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity position. Contributors will work on project-based AI training tasks while collaborating remotely with distributed teams in a flexible work environment. No prior AI experience is required — your finance expertise is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Design technically challenging finance prompts, exercises, and scenarios that reflect real-world investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance workflows.
- Contribute to AI training and evaluation projects through financial reasoning tasks, response evaluation, rubric development, and related workflows.
- Develop gold-standard solutions in Excel and PowerPoint to serve as objective benchmarks for AI model evaluation.
- Create, refine, and maintain grading rubrics for assessing AI-generated outputs across financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis tasks.
- Build, modify, and review advanced financial models, including three-statement models, DCF valuations, comparable company analyses, precedent transactions, LBO models, M&A analyses, and sensitivity scenarios.
- Produce transaction analyses, investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials at a client-ready standard.
- Develop and adapt professional templates, investment decks, and financial materials commonly used in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, and strategic finance.
- Ensure all deliverables maintain high standards of technical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in financial modeling, valuation, transaction analysis, and corporate finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including scenario analysis, model auditing, integrity checks, and complex financial calculations.
- Expertise in creating polished, professional PowerPoint presentations, investment decks, and executive-level financial materials.
- Strong familiarity with standard investment banking, private equity, and corporate development processes, frameworks, and deliverables.
- Proven track record working on live transactions, investments, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, or strategic finance projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
- Ability to independently produce client-ready financial analyses and materials under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience evaluating AI models, developing technical prompts, or creating assessment frameworks.
- Exposure to multiple finance disciplines such as investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategic finance, consulting, or venture capital.
- Previous experience creating training data, technical assessments, or educational content for advanced technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI model evaluation or AI training-related finance tasks is a plus.
