Do you know what good digital learning looks like – and want to help shape it at scale in a Nordic organization and play a key role in implementing a new authoring tool?
We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Group HR / L&D team. In this role, you will design, develop and deliver high‑quality, scalable learning solutions for managers and employees across the Nordic countries, with a strong focus on digital learning and e‑learning.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong pedagogical skills with hands‑on e‑learning production experience, and who understands that effective learning starts with analysing the real learning need – not just producing content. You will also play a key role in the implementation and rollout of a new e‑learning authoring tool, helping define best practices and quality standards for future digital learning.
Your role
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you work across strategic, tactical and operational levels. You partner closely with the business to identify learning needs, translate them into sound learning concepts, and design engaging learning experiences grounded in modern learning theory and best practice.
You are someone who already knows what good looks like when it comes to pedagogy, learner experience, structure and digital design – and who can raise the bar for learning quality across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Learning experience design & pedagogy
- Analyze business and performance needs to identify what employees and managers actually need to learn, and why
- Translate learning needs into clear learning objectives, meaningful learning journeys and effective pedagogical approaches
- Design onboarding programs, learning concepts and training initiatives that support performance, safety and leadership
- Ensure learning solutions are built on sound pedagogical principles and aligned with leadership values and operational standards
- Contribute to scalable Nordic learning paths for different roles and target groups
Digital learning & e‑learning production
- Produce high‑quality digital learning content such as e‑learning modules, microlearning, videos and interactive materials
- Work hands‑on with modern e‑learning and authoring tools, ensuring strong learning experience, structure and usability
- Play an active role in the implementation of a new e‑learning authoring tool, including defining quality criteria, ways of working and best practices
- Understand that effective e‑learning production starts with defining the learning concept and learner need – not with the tool itself
- Collaborate closely with L&D colleagues to ensure LMS structures and learning paths support business needs across all Nordic countries
Nordic collaboration & continuous improvement
- Act as a core member of the Nordic L&D team and contribute to cross‑country initiatives and development projects
- Work closely with HR, business leaders, subject matter experts and IT across the Nordics
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using data and feedback, and continuously improve learning solutions, methods and processes
Who are you?
You are curious, structured and self‑driven, with a clear sense of quality in learning design. You combine a pedagogical mindset with business understanding, enjoy collaboration and are comfortable influencing without formal authority. You care deeply about creating learning that is meaningful, effective and scalable.
We believe you have:
- A relevant academic degree in HR, education, pedagogy, behavioural science, organizational development or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in Learning & Development, with strong expertise in digital learning and e‑learning design
- Proven experience working with modern e‑learning authoring tools – and a clear understanding of learning quality, structure and pedagogy
- The ability to analyze learning needs and design learning solutions that actually change behavior and support performance
- Experience working in Nordic or international environments, preferably in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup
- Fluency (spoken and written) in English and Norwegian. Knowledge of other Nordic languages is considered a advantage
