We are looking for a motivated and collaborative
Learning & Development Specialist
In this role, you will contribute to shaping a unified, high‑quality learning experience across Boliden. You will be a key partner for managers, employees, and HR teams - supporting both global and local initiatives as we develop learning practices that help our people grow, innovate, and lead.
Main Responsibilities
Learning coordination & planning
- Plan, organize, and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and leadership development programs
- Ensure smooth end-to-end learning processes for employees, managers, and trainers
- Support both global and local learning and competence development processes
System & digital learning support
- Act as the key user and subject matter expert for the Workday Learning system
- Support managers and content creators in using Workday Learning effectively
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Workday Learning library
- Support learning processes related to ServiceNow
Process development & harmonization
- Develop L&D processes, standards, and ways of working together with other L&D Specialists and the L&D Manager
- Ensure that learning processes are efficient, effective, and user-friendly
- Contribute to the implementation of group-wide learning and competence development solutions, including e-learning
Collaboration & advisory
- Support and advise managers, HR Business Partners, and content creators on learning solutions and processes
- Collaborate with external training partners and service providers
- Measure learning effectiveness, participation, and business impact, and continuously develop the offering
What You Bring
- A relevant educational background (HR, Education, Organizational Psychology, Business, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in L&D, HR, training coordination, or related roles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider network
- A structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented way of working
- Confidence using digital learning platforms and tools
- Fluency in English and Finnish — both are essential
- A genuine interest in developing people and supporting organizational learning
Location
The position will primarily be based at our Harjavalta site, but our other locations in Finland (Kokkola and Kevitsa) may also be considered. You will also have the opportunity for partial remote work.
The Learning & Development Specialist will be part of the Learning team, which consists of experts from Finland and Sweden. The role includes occasional travel to other Boliden sites.
