The Opportunity: Head of Culture & Talent
As the Head of Culture & Talent at Eatron Technologies, you will embark on a transformative journey that impacts every aspect of our company. Your role is pivotal, and your mission is to build a culture that inspires, empowers, and attracts top talent. You will be responsible for the following:
Company Culture Maestro: Craft and nurture a cultural blueprint that defines who Eatron is and what we stand for. Champion our values, behaviours, and uniqueness to all stakeholders. Foster connections, care, execution, and growth, regardless of external circumstances. Bring our culture and values to life every day, and where it matters most.
People Strategy Virtuoso: Collaborate with leaders to align our people strategy with Finance and Commercial OKRs. Master workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, training, performance assessment, and more. Ensure this capability is embedded in every leadership discussion about OKR progress.
Recruitment Dynamo: Create an irresistible Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and align employer branding activities across our digital landscape. Map talent sources and engage external specialists when needed. Attract top-notch talent for all leadership and functional head roles at Eatron.
Recruitment Excellence: Develop a needs analysis framework (workforce planning) and benchmark compensation to ensure competitive insights. Collaborate with external recruitment partners while ensuring they reflect and can articulate our unique employee proposition and our brilliant culture. Provide a top-notch candidate and hiring manager experience that is memorable and powerful. Streamline and automate the recruitment process using ATS solutions. Track engagement, interview notes, hiring team insights, and more. Ensure seamless onboarding and alignment with SEPP elements.
Onboarding Virtuoso: Implement an enhanced and intensive L&D journey. Improve our pre-boarding, onboarding, familiarization, buddy systems, and learning resources. Ensure new hires are fully productive within 30 days. Help get our brilliant new hires to full productivity as quickly as possible – and create the conditions to build powerful relationships.
Performance Development Guru: Establish a continuous Performance Development Loop. Provide tools and support for team leads and managers. Conduct regular catch-ups and progress reviews to align commercial and personal OKRs. Use tools to develop comprehensive development plans for each employee. Foster continuous learning, qualifications, and career growth. Work to become a 'skills-based' organisation wherein every role is assigned the skills & expertise (capabilities) required to perform that role to a high standard. Skills will be captured, validated and assigned using a rigorous exploration to build a lean-but-comprehensive skills ontology across all of Eatron. Design and deliver the Performance Development Loop as a seamless, continuous journey of:
- Understanding what you need to perform, supported by what skills/expertise to what level, and…
- To continuously capture feedback, determine skills gaps, and create quarterly development plans to achieve, to then…
- Be considered for hiring, projects, promotions, succession movements, and aligned learning of every sort on a rolling quarterly basis. Ensure tools and support are in place for team leads / managers.
Building and Tuning Our HR Tech Stack: Assess current state HR process requirements against all known HR process automation tools. Deel will be our Employer of Record capability and can additionally offer HRIS system of record tooling for our current, global employee base. Additional functionality required - pre--boarding/onboarding, skills ontology, career frameworks, performance assessment, linked learning and development, employee engagement and 1:1 scheduling – and we’re about to engage with an external vendor to provide all that too! You can help build, shape, configure and implement this exciting capability to automate those basics, provide self-service to our people, and then radically enhance our EVP from a career, learning & development perspective.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum bachelor's degree or MBA in Human Resource Management or Organisational Psychology;
- CIPD level 5 or 7 preferred, or equivelant experience
- Significant, proven experience in HR leadership or adjacent fields;
- Experience in working with a few technology start-up companies – building the HR function from basic administration to a more strategic capability across the business;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Enjoys handling and managing ambiguity, but loves making sense of it, improving it and supporting collaborative thinking and working;
- Proven effective stakeholder management skills - does a brilliant job bringing everyone along for the ride;
- Strong presentation and organizational skills, managing multiple priorities in stride.
- Strong comfort with Microsoft Office 365 tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc.

Salary range - £60,000 - £70,000 + performance-based compensation, ESOP
Start - Immediate preferably
Hybrid working - 2-3 days in our Warwick HQ office, 2-3 days working remotely.
