We are seeking a part‑time Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to lead the people function, end‑to‑end. The HRPB is responsible for meeting the corporations Human Resources (HR) goals and responsibilities and works in tandem with the support of the Senior HR Specialist who reports to the HRBP. The role combines strategic partnership with hands‑on execution across the employee lifecycle—ensuring compliance, scalable processes, great employee experience, and data‑driven decision making. Ideal opportunity for a self‑starter who thrives in a lean, high‑trust environment and can balance tactical HR operations with strategic workforce planning.
Responsibilities
· STARTEGIC HR, WORKFORCE PLANNING. Serve as trusted advisor to leadership to translate business goals into employee planning, i.e., retention strategies, capability planning, capability development.
· SUPERVISORY EXPECTATIONS. Work with, support, coach, advance the skills and the abilities of the Senior HR Specialist.
· EMPLOYEE RELATIONS. Point of contact for employees, supervisors, and leadership. Conduct fair and timely inquiries, support management coaching, ensure documentation. Stimulate employee engagement.
· EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE. Maintain, observe, and proactively support the performance management infrastructure, i.e., Goals, Performance Reviews, improvement plans, Supervisor-employee check-ins, training and development. Foster corporate culture.
· ONBOARDING, OFFBOARDING. Maintain and adjust the scalable onboarding and offboarding program; prioritize the employee experience for both parts of the employee lifecycle.
· HR OPERATIONS. Maintain and update IQMS (Integrated Quality Management System) instruments (i.e., HR Handbooks, HR templates, annual training). Maintain Employee Handbook.
· COMPLIANCE. Comply with federal, state, and local laws relevant to Sanametrix’ industry, the number of employees, and the work site(s). Conduct periodic internal audits and maintain audit records.
· TALENT ACQUISITION. Support the Recruiting process infrastructure to include job requisitions, recruiting forms and templates, and Employment Offer process ensuring quality and fairness.
· BENEFITS. Manage Leaves, (i.e., FMLA, Short-term disability, ADA, state leaves), Leave accommodations and processing, and return-to-work plans.
· COMPENSATION. Support Accounting and Leadership in managing pay practices, benefits, benefit vendor relationships.
Required Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:
· Satisfactory results from the Sanametrix background check.
· BA/BS degree in a related discipline, OR Active HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP)
· 7-11+ years progressive HR experience within the HR generalist and business partner scope
· Clear, empathetic, and candid communicator with all levels (written, oral)
· Executes duties with sensitivity and impartiality.
· Connects employee programs to outcomes; some experience with metrics and/or data analysis.
· Physical Requirements: prolonged computer use
- Hours: Core Hrs: 10am -3pm; 4 days per week. Flexible.
Desired Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:
· Proficiency with ATS
· Experience with collaboration tools, e.g., Microsoft 365/Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
· Some experience using AI in performing HR responsibilities.
· Experience with Paychex Flex
· Experience with payroll systems, i.e. Paychex, Unanet.
· Experience with survey tools (such as Microsoft Forms, Survey Monkey)
· Comfortable with HR metrics and simple dashboards.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
