Location flexibility (primarily within Switzerland) is required.
As Head of Learning & Development and Training, you will architect and execute a comprehensive people development strategy for the group. Central to the role is the creation of a fully integrated Training Academy - encompassing graduate schemes, structured induction journeys, operational excellence programmes, SME development, and a leadership framework rooted in the company's core values. In close partnership with senior stakeholders and HR business partners, you will conduct skills gap analyses, craft cross-functional training pathways to support workforce agility through peak periods, and launch a High Potential initiative designed to identify and fast-track the next generation of leaders. You will also take ownership of the Learning Management System, embedding intuitive, mobile-friendly technology throughout the training ecosystem, with measurable outcomes tied to retention, internal progression, guest satisfaction scores, and compliance.
To be considered, you will bring at least five years of progressive experience within Learning & Development, experience within the hospitality sector is a major plus but not essential, indeed, experience from other best in class companies within their industry will also be considered a benefit. A track record of building departments and implementing L&D/ Training programmes from scratch is highly advantageous. Above all, you will be a self-starter with sharp commercial instincts, skilled at managing complex stakeholder landscapes and driving impact through influence across a multi-outlet, fast-paced destination.
