Nmble Medical is seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to support a growing dental organization in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable training programs, improving clinical and operational performance, and driving continuous professional development across dental teams.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing learning initiatives for both clinical and non-clinical staff, helping elevate patient care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs for dental professionals and support staff
- Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and align learning strategies with business goals
- Create onboarding programs for new hires, including dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff
- Develop e-learning modules, job aids, SOPs, and training materials
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics
- Maintain a learning management system (LMS) and track employee progress
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and continuing education requirements
- Support leadership development and career pathing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development
- Experience in healthcare or dental environments strongly preferred
- Strong instructional design and content development skills
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-site healthcare or dental organizations
- Knowledge of compliance training (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Certification in instructional design, coaching, or L&D (e.g., ATD, CPTD)
