Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and maintenance for servers, NAS devices, and networking equipment.
- Networking Expertise: Configure and manage firewalls, switches, secure Wi-Fi, VPNs, and routing.
- VOIP Systems: Install, configure, and maintain VOIP solutions to ensure reliable communication services.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and monitor backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Workstation Integration: Support complex workstation setups, including Windows, macOS, and mobile device management (iOS/Android).
- On-Site Service: Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance at client locations.
- System Administration: Manage Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, and user accounts.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate configuration of records and asset tracking.
- Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional service within SLAs, communicate effectively, and champion client needs.
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Microsoft 365, and NAS devices.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and backup technologies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for on-site work.
- Certifications such as Microsoft, Network+, A+, or vendor-specific hardware certifications are an asset.
