The Learning and Development Expert will be responsible to design and implement advanced learning strategies, leadership development initiatives, and enterprise capability‑building programs across Qatar Foundation.
Key Result Areas:
- Design and develop enterprise learning frameworks, capability programs, and leadership development initiatives.
- Lead the design and delivery of programs aligned with the Leadership Factory and HiPo ecosystem.
- Develop structured development journeys for emerging leaders and high‑potential employees.
- Partner with Talent Management to translate succession planning insights into targeted development interventions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps and develop appropriate learning solutions.
- Manage external learning partners and executive education providers.
- Monitor and evaluate learning program effectiveness through analytics and feedback.
- Ensure alignment between learning initiatives, talent development strategy, and organizational priorities.
- Lead and manage learning assessment and evaluation activities; ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Lead an annual staff learning needs analysis and accordingly adjust the learning catalogue.
- Develop and submit periodic training reports, including SLAs, quarterly achievements, and KPIs; ensure that training records are updated in the Learning Management System.
- Keep abreast of trends in training new publications, new learning materials & methods to provide the most effective training programs possible; regularly benchmark practices against other organizations to ensure that best practices are employed.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education or other relevant fields of study; Master’s preferred.
- 8–10 years of relevant full‑time work experience in Learning & Development within a large and diverse organization.
- Experience in instructional design, training program design, and training methods and strategies.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
