Operational / Lean Facilitator (Contract)
Our client is looking for an Operational Excellence/Lean Facilitator to support manufacturers across Alberta and the Prairies on a two-year contract basis. The facilitator will work closely with manufacturers to deliver Lean training, conduct operational assessments, and guide teams through continuous improvement initiatives. The role also supports pilot programs focused on technology adoption, sustainable supply chains, reliability, and AI integration.
Travel of up to 75% within Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan is required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver Lean 101, Yellowbelt, and Greenbelt programs.
- Conduct operational assessments and reliability training.
- Facilitate leadership and supervisory training programs.
- Customize training for individual manufacturers as needed.
- Support development of new Lean and operational excellence programs.
- Facilitate Lean consortium sessions and collaborative workshops.
- Promote Lean practices and operational excellence to member organizations.
- Coach clients on process improvements and document success stories.
- Support events, workshops, and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with facilitators and partners to ensure consistent methods and messaging.

Qualifications
- 9+ years of manufacturing managerial experience.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing.
- Experience in agriculture, food processing, fabrication, aerospace, or defense supply chains preferred.
- Adult education or instructor certification an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and passport for travel.
