EMEA Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a global organisation to appoint a Global Director of Organizational Development, to lead the transformation of its global learning and training function.
The Global Director of Organizational Development will play a critical role in evolving a fragmented, legacy-heavy learning environment into a modern, scalable, and execution-focused organisation, aligned to the needs of a complex, operationally driven business.
This position will act as a key partner to senior leadership, including the Executive Leadership Team, driving alignment, accountability, and momentum behind a global transformation agenda, while ensuring learning delivery is consistent, effective, and commercially aligned.
The role has broad responsibility across all aspects of global learning, including learning operations, content and academy development (including digital and immersive learning), quality and compliance, and learning systems and data, with a strong focus on execution, governance, and measurable impact.
Key responsibilities of the Global Director of Organizational Development:
• Lead the transformation of the global learning function, creating a unified, scalable operating model
• Drive consistent, high-quality execution of learning initiatives across global regions, improving delivery and standards
• Establish clear governance and accountability between global and regional teams
• Oversee the rollout and optimisation of learning frameworks, systems, and compliance tracking
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, acting as a visible leader to drive change and collaboration
Key Experience Required:
• Proven experience in Organizational Development, HR, Operations, or Continuous Improvement within a large, global organisation
• Strong track record of delivering transformation with a focus on practical implementation (e.g. systems, org design, process improvement)
• Experience in complex, operational or regulated environments
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Executive Leadership level
