We are seeking an experienced and driven National L&D Manager to lead the learning and development strategy across a fast-paced, multi-site UK operation. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality training delivery across all locations, supporting operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a national training strategy aligned with business objectives
- Oversee training delivery across multiple UK sites, ensuring consistency and quality
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional trainers and facilitators
- Identify skills gaps and implement effective learning solutions
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support operational performance and change initiatives
- Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in a senior training or L&D role within a multi-site UK business
- Experience within Contract Catering, Facilities Management, Logistics or Hospitality
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable training programmes
- Willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis
