L&D Consultant, Digital & AI
London Hybrid, 3 days in the office
12 month contract, £550 per day inside IR35
My client is a Global Banking Organisation, looking to hire an experienced L&D manager/consultant to drive the coordination and execution of their "Skills for the Future" programme, focused on upskilling global employees in Digital, DX and AI skillsets. You will be responsible for operationalising their Skills for the Future Programme, ensuring that colleagues across the EMEA region are equipped with the necessary Digital & AI competencies.
This is a fantastic long term contract opportunity to deliver a first rate L&D programme in digital and AI, supporting the upskilling of thousands of employees in a Global Financial Services business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the EMEA “Skills for the Future” training roadmap, ensuring clear learning pathways across all levels.
- Partner with business leaders to identify DX & AI skills gaps and translate these into targeted learning objectives.
- Align the EMEA programme with global initiatives and standards in collaboration with US and APAC teams.
- Promote DataCamp as the core platform for data, analytics and AI upskilling, ensuring alignment with existing learning programmes.
- Tailor learning journeys to business needs and guide colleagues on relevant courses.
- Monitor usage, completion rates and feedback to measure impact and ROI.
- Act as a champion for the “Skills for the Future” initiative, building visibility and engagement across EMEA.
- Deliver regular communications, share success stories and maintain momentum around digital upskilling.
- Collaborate with the wider Global L&D team to ensure seamless integration with the broader learning curriculum.
- Manage end-to-end logistics for training sessions across EMEA, including scheduling, vendor management and attendee coordination.
- Track attendance, feedback and outcomes, providing regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Support workshops through speaker introductions, Q&A management and breakout facilitation.
- Opportunity to deliver selected sessions on basic DX/AI topics, depending on experience.
Key Skills/Experience
- Proven experience in a L&D Specialist role, ideally with a technology or digital focus, AI advantageous.
- Strong track record of working in Banking and FS or a regulated environment.
- A strong interest in and understanding of Digital Transformation and AI concepts
- Experience rolling out a learning curriculum (ideally related to AI / Digital Transformation) within a global organisations
- Project Management and/or Change Management experience, preferably within Financial Services.
- Confidence in dealing with stakeholders ranging from junior staff to senior managing directors.
- Vendor management experience.
- Exceptional logistical skills with the ability to manage complex schedules across multiple time zones, globally.
