The Onboarding Acceleration and Platform Specialist is responsible for leading onboarding processes, delivering comprehensive training programs, managing digital platforms, and providing clinical subject matter expertise across the organization. This multifaceted role serves as the bridge between technical systems, clinical knowledge, and end users, minimizing the onboarding process and enhancing a new hire’s time to effectiveness. The Manager will also lay the foundation for future training scalability, including mentorship of junior trainers and coordination with Field Sales Trainers (FSTs).
Requirements

- Fundamental skills in Sales Training, classroom management, and facilitation
- Selling Skills certification in IMPACT, SPIN, Challenger or similar
- Proven experience in sales, sales training, or sales management, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and metrics
- Familiarity with e-learning tools, CRM software, and sales enablement platforms
- Leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate sales teams
- Analytical mindset to assess training effectiveness and drive improvements
- This is a full-time position
- Some weekend travel may be required
- Travel up to 40% including Headquarter visits

- 100% LMS course completion rate within 30 days of Home Study for New hire

Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive New Hire sales training programs, including onboarding, ongoing development, and skill-specific training.
- Develop training materials, modules, and resources to address sales techniques, product knowledge, customer relationship management, and other relevant skills.
- Stay updated with industry trends and adapt training programs to address current needs.
- Design and implement structured onboarding programs that reduces time-to-first-sale and aligns with core competencies
- Facilitates a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating home study, vendor credentialing, and New Hire Training
- Assign and collaborate with Field Sales Trainers to provide hands-on regional support during a new hire’s first 90 days, ensuring consistent field coaching, skills reinforcement, and early wins in the territory.
- Create digital onboarding playbooks for reps, trainers, and managers with milestone checklists and performance goals.
- Provide ongoing education to address evolving needs and product adoptions
- Support the successful onboarding of new hires with onsite field visits to observe, train and minimize time efficacy
- Partner closely with Field Sales Trainers to align in-field coaching with onboarding curriculum, identify skill gaps, and personalize developmental plans for new hires.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new hires in their first 90 days, including time to first customer interaction, first product order, and demonstration proficiency.
- Gather feedback from Field Sales Trainers quarterly to provide training updates and reinforce continuous learning.
- Onsite clinical assistance for new product launches, customer experience development and key opinion leader development
- Serve as lead administrator for learning management platforms and digital tools
- ensuring alignment with rep workflows and ease of use.
- Oversee relevant training content updates in alignment with Field Sales Trainer (FST) feedback and regional needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior training staff (when available) to ensure consistency in delivery and support future scalability.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and system settings to align with workflows
- Monitor training engagement, learner progress, and system utilization to optimize experience and impact.
- Project manage training events around product launches, sales initiatives and Regional/National Sales meetings
- Collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations and Commercial Leadership to drive growth initiatives and meet company goals

Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) designated positions will be subject to the federal respiratory protection standard as per 29 CFR 1910.134 requiring medical clearance and a passing Fit test to don a respirator. Additionally, as per the same regulation, facial hair affecting the seal on a tight-fitting negative pressure respirator is not allowable for Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) designated positions.
