About The Role
As a Digital Learning Specialist, you are the driving force behind the digital learning experience within our organization. You will develop, manage, and optimize digital learning resources and blended learning programs that align with the learning needs of our employees. You advise management on the implementation of innovative learning solutions and contribute to the digital transformation of our L&D offering.
Activities
- Design and Development of E-Learning Content: As a Digital Learning Specialist, you are responsible for designing and developing e-learning content that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with learning objectives. You should have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and the latest trends and technologies in e-learning.
- Implementation of Technology Solutions: Digital Learning Specialists are responsible for selecting, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that support the delivery of e-learning. This includes using the right authoring tools and ensuring they are integrated with other systems. You must have a strong understanding of e-learning technology and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Providing Support and Training: Digital Learning Specialists provide support and training to users of e-learning content and technology solutions. You must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, such as teachers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts, and provide guidance on the use of technology.
- Development of Digital Learning Technologies: Responsible for design, design, development and implementation of digital learning solutions the Thales Naval Domain, as part of the Naval Academy.
Responsibilities As a Digital Learning Specialist, you will be instrumental in creating and deploying learning courses related to the Naval domain products and technology, using modern and innovative approaches. You will work closely with the HR team, business stakeholders, internal SMEs, and external providers. Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting learning needs analyses and supporting the translation into an annual learning plan
- Designing, developing, and maintaining skills-based learning programs, e-learning courses, and training materials aligned with the learning plan
- Using innovative tools and approaches to create unique learning programs and experiences that deliver impact for leadership, coaching, mentoring, and soft skills training
- Coordinating end-to-end delivery of online and AI enabled learning solutions
- Supporting the management of learner groups, courses, learning campaigns, and communities across learning platforms
- Building learning paths, creating and assigning courses, maintaining curricula and learner groups, and managing data in the LMS
- Analyzing the impact of learning and development, and providing reports and metrics using data analytics dashboards
- Tracking user experience and implementing improvements to training content, design, and experience based on feedback, as well as developing strategies to enhance program effectiveness
- Working closely with internal SMEs and third-party providers to develop best-in-class digital course content. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure that training/services are delivered on time, within budget, and produce the desired results.
- Collaborating with the rest of the Global HR team to deliver high-impact Digital Learning solutions
About You
- Proven track record in Learning and development (3+ years) with a good understanding of Learning in the corporate domain
- Affinity with Engineering, Innovation and Technology
- Certification in web application and delivery tools like Adobe, Articulate, Storyline, Canva etc is a must
- Certificate in Instructional design is a must
- Experience with AI development tools and video editing software is preferred
- Project management capability with attention to detail and organizing skills. Agile methodologies certificate preferred
- Digital savvy and data driven with proficiency in use of MS office suite particularly excel for data and power point for presentations
- Knowledge of working with Power BI and or similar analytics dashboards
- Experience of working in a global environment. Excellent problem solving , communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic and flexible in approach with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English) and possibly in one other European language eg: Italian, Dutch, French, German.
