*Note: You will be required to attend client locations for meetings/onsite support (Waterloo Region, Perth East/South, Wellington County and surrounding areas).
Key Responsibilities
● Build and maintain strong rapport and trust with clients
● Conduct HR assessments and audits to identify areas of improvement and recommend appropriate strategies
● Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices that align with industry best practices and legal requirements
● Provide guidance and support to clients on a wide range of HR matters, including employee and labour relations, performance management, recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and training and development
● Develop and deliver HR training programs for clients
● Stay up-to-date with changes in employment legislation and ensure clients are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
● Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and insights, contributing to the continuous improvement of our consulting services
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
● Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
● Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Leader (CHRL) required
● 5 years of HR experience in progressively responsible roles, ideally with exposure to providing consulting services
● Labour relations experience required
● In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, policies and best practices, including ESA, OHSA, CLC
● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and resilience to adapt quickly to change
● Highly organized and a self starter who is able to work independently
● Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
● Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
● Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
