Job Purpose
To design and deliver training courses on Supervisory, Customer Experience, Essential Skills and any tailor-made programs in accordance with Air Arabia strategy and priorities defined with the Management. Ensures conformity in delivery of training whilst promoting company’s culture and corporate image.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers effective and timely training programs to meet business and operational needs in accordance with the Air Arabia strategy and priorities, and in such a way that it is implemented in practice. Can apply the 70 20 10 model.
- Provides mandatory Initial, Conversion/Differences, Recurrent, and Refresher Training on Customer Experience, supervises the progress of their performance and generates reports to management accordingly.
- Conducts “Leadership & Supervisor” and tailor-made training courses on demand, One-To-One coaching and provides continuous guidance and support to staff to inspire them achieve best results in their area.
- Can identify learning needs by doing a proper learning needs analysis with Senior Business Stakeholder. Can translate this analysis to the right Development interventions. Is able to present the proposed learning solutions to key stakeholders.
- Contributes to the creation and updating of questions databank to be used in the selection exams. Ensures safety and readiness of facilities, equipment, tools as well as tests and results.
- Facilitates to new joiners and new managers an effective Induction Program, provides guidance and support to new hires and managers, to ensure readiness in their roles.
- Supports other Hubs and Air Arabia group companies in delivery of training programs as and when required; conducts training courses to “Third Parties” as per approved SLAs and contracts when and as needed.
- Partners with line managers to develop post-training action plans to evaluate and measure the
effectiveness of training/learning in terms of content, delivery, as well as implementation in the work-place, all with emphasis on performance metrics including behavioural change and business results. Can apply Kirkpatrick methodology in practice.
- Uses e-learning and new learning tools as an added method of designing effective learning for the target audience. Makes decisions on the right delivery method. Uses the Learning Management System (LMS) and other related platforms as part of the learning intervention.
- Performs any additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, Education/ Diploma or equivalent is preferred for this role.
- Related training certificates and training courses such as “Train the Trainer”, “Instructive Training” .
- Appropriate corresponding license is an advantage.
- E-learning education and/or respective working experience and exposure are required for this role.
- Audio Visual equipment management skills are required.
- Capable of using learning technology systems & tools, proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search.
- Fluent in English Language
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in the aviation Industry would be preferable.
- Excellent Presentation and Training skills.
- Previous experience as a Training Instructor in essential skills, customer experience and management development is essential.
- Experienced in planning, designing and delivering training courses.
- Ability to produce, interpret, assimilate data and express ideas and concepts clearly.
- Employs a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
- Dependable, self-initiative, takes ownership and displays energy and enthusiasm.
- Has very good planning and time management skills even in challenging environments.
- Cost-oriented, possesses effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates exceptional work habits, with high accuracy and attention to details.
- Working exposure to internal/external audit practices.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
