A major financial services institution with presence in multiple countries.
Base Salary: CAD $85,000 to $95,000.
What you will achieve in this role
- Analyze workforce needs, identify gaps and develop learning & development plans.
- Create and deliver training programs for onboarding, compliance, leadership and other skills, as required.
- Connect learning & development to performance management to promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Address employee relations issues, implement improvement plans and manage conflict resolution.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
- Support end-to-end recruitment process.
- Develop compensation structures, salary reviews and benefits administration.
- Provide recommendations on compensation adjustments and promotions.
What you will bring to this role
- 5 to 7 years of full-cycle HR experience in banking.
- 2 to 3 years of learning and development experience in banking.
- Expertise in creating and delivering training programs and evaluating effectiveness of training.
- Experience in corporate banking is a big asset.
- Skilled in in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Expertise in collaborating with senior stakeholders and executives.
- Sound knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
