Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a group Training & Development Manager to lead, design and implement training and development strategies across the BasicNet Gro
up.The role will play a key part in strengthening employees’ capabilities, supporting organizational growth and ensuring alignment between people development and business objectives.
Key Responsabilities
- Lead the analysis of Group-wide training needs, translating business priorities into structured learning and development initiatives
- Design, develop and continuously improve training programs and learning materials tailored to different populations and functions
- Define and oversee the annual training plan, including mandatory health and safety training, ensuring compliance, quality and timely delivery
- Deliver and coordinate onboarding training programs for new hires and key populations
- Monitor, measure and report on training effectiveness through KPIs, evaluation tools and feedback questionnaires (courses and trainers’ performance)
- Manage and optimize the training budget, including course costs, funded training programs and external training providers
- Select, coordinate and evaluate external trainers and partners
- Oversee the update, development and implementationof the BasicNet Group learning platform, promoting its adoption and continuous improvement
- Act as a strategic partner for HR and business stakeholders on learning, development and upskilling topics
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Proven experience in the role (at least 5 years) within structured organizations
- Solid experience in retail environments, with a strong background in designing and implementing training plans tailored to retail populations (store staff, managers, HQ–retail interfaces)
- Strong expertise in training needs analysis, instructional design and learning evaluation
- Experience in budget ownershipand management of funded training initiatives
- Ability to work autonomously in a complex, multi-site and multi-stakeholder environment
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, operational approach
- Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
- Proficient in English language
