Role Description
Director of Learning Partnerships and Growth
This is a senior, commercially focused role responsible for driving revenue growth through B2B learning solutions and long-term institutional partnerships. Based in Malta, the role combines consultative sales leadership with learning strategy, positioning Auren Institute as a trusted partner for workforce development and CPD.
You will own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from lead development and client engagement to solution design, contract negotiation, and account expansion. Working closely with clients, you will diagnose organisational capability gaps and translate them into tailored learning solutions aligned with commercial and operational objectives.
In addition to direct revenue responsibility, you will lead and mentor the learning development and partnerships team, ensuring that commercial commitments are delivered through high-quality, outcome-driven learning programmes. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy, pricing models, partnership frameworks, and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities and Commercial KPIs
- Own and deliver B2B revenue targets across corporate, institutional, and partner accounts
- Build and scale strategic partnerships with employers, professional bodies, and training resellers
- Manage the full sales pipeline, including lead qualification, proposals, negotiations, and closing
- Drive account growth, renewals, and upsell of learning programmes and subscriptions
- Translate client needs into commercial learning solutions with clear ROI
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to improve conversion, retention, and lifetime value
- Track and report against KPIs including revenue growth, conversion rates, average deal size, and client retention
Qualifications
- Strong background in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally within education, professional services, or SaaS
- Demonstrable experience selling consultative, solution-based offerings to organisations
- Solid understanding of learning, CPD, or workforce development environments
- Experience working with LMS platforms, digital learning products, or training solutions
- Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Commitment to continuous improvement and performance measurement
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is an asset
Remuneration
- Minimum base salary of EUR 30,000
- Commission on B2B sales and partnerships
- Performance bonuses (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
