The Sr. Manager, Learning & Development will report to the Sr. Director, Talent Experience & Development within the Talent department. This role leads the Learning & Development portfolio, setting priorities that strengthen people capabilities across our North American entities. It oversees the full cycle of training and development programs, ensuring they scale effectively across the business and are aligned with performance expectations and strategic priorities in the U.S. and Canada.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Own and manage portfolio priorities to align with business needs. Lead demand intake and conduct needs analysis where required. Balance the delivery mix across synchronous and asynchronous learning methods. Manages the Learning & Development budget and prioritize resource allocation to maximize business impact. Facilitate leadership programs and support ad-hoc requirements for large-scale meetings.
PROGRAM INTEGRATION & EXECUTION OVERSIGHT
Ensure quality standards and drive continuous improvement across all training and development programs. Oversee delivery consistency and vendor quality for diverse audiences, including flagship programs. Manage the program calendar, logistics, communications, and participant experience through the team. Lead medium-to-complex local Learning & Development projects, ensuring timely delivery, appropriate cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with business priorities. Define facilitation standards and manage the external facilitator pool. Guarantee inclusion, accessibility, and scalability in all program designs.
STAKEHOLDER ENABLEMENT
Act as a trusted advisor to the Talent team and the business, providing strategies on Learning & Development that strengthen capability build. Ensure alignment of portfolio priorities with business strategies, performance outcomes, and engagement insights. Partner closely with Global Talent to bring the best learning experience to the region, leveraging global frameworks, content and tools and influence regional enhancement based on market insights. Own portfolio budget planning, tracking, and reporting. Consult with stakeholders to ensure program alignment and delivery with performance priorities and organizational culture. Collaborate with within the department and across Talent and cross-functional business teams to embed learning into the overall employee journey.
MEASUREMENT & INSIGHTS
Define and oversee success metrics and a measurement framework (e.g., attendance, NPS, ROI, retention, performance impact). Translate learning data into actionable, business-relevant insights. Oversee local improvement and innovation across Learning & Development, providing regular recommendations to the Sr. Director, ensuring impact throughout the HR value chain. Benchmark practices against market standards to ensure innovation. Brings external insights and competitive benchmarking to inform continuous learning improvements, ensuring the learning solutions reflect evolving market expectations.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Provide coaching, feedback, and development to direct reports, leveraging Red Bull tools and frameworks. Drive performance management within the team, ensuring accountability and growth. Build and sustain a high-performing team culture rooted in Red Bull values and philosophies.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent, Organizational Development, or broader HR/Talent functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and continuously improving talent programs at scale.
- Experience localizing global frameworks to fit regional needs while maintaining consistency.
- Experience managing medium to complex projects with a focus on talent and L&D.
- Strong facilitation skills with significant experiencing in overseeing program design and delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with and reach a variety of audiences.
- Advanced influencing skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to build alignment and achieve win–win solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate business needs and talent strategies into scalable processes and programs.
- Recognized subject-matter expertise within the L&D or Talent domain.
- Critical and conceptual thinker that applies it to ambiguous topics.
- Experience managing vendors and integrating global and local program requirements.
- Expertise in data analysis and insights, with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve the learning experience.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - 180,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
