About The Role
The Director of Learning & Development (L&D) will architect and lead Vcheck’s talent development strategy. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving learning programs that enhance leadership capability, technical proficiency, and overall employee engagement. The Director will partner cross-functionally to align training initiatives with business priorities and operational goals.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Establish frameworks for leadership development, technical training, and career progression.
Program Design & Delivery
- Oversee creation and delivery of blended learning programs (virtual instructor-led, e-learning, and self-paced modules).
- Implement standardized training processes using models such as ADDIE for continuous improvement.
- Manage onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing employees.
Content Development & Quality
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce engaging training materials (manuals, videos, job aids).
- Ensure consistency and compliance with operational standards and quality benchmarks.
Performance Measurement
- Define KPIs for training effectiveness (completion rates, knowledge retention, performance impact).
- Utilize data from assessments and surveys to refine programs and report outcomes to leadership.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage LMS platforms and digital tools to scale learning initiatives globally.
- Introduce innovative solutions for remote and hybrid learning environments.
About You

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in L&D leadership, preferably in professional services or investigative industries.
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
120,000 - 140,000 USD per year (New York)
