International Retail Training Director
We are looking for an experienced International Retail Training Director to lead global learning and development initiatives across the retail network. This strategic role will design and implement training programs that foster a consistent culture, enhance operational excellence, and drive performance across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive learning strategies and programs for retail and franchise networks.
- Identify training needs and implement innovative methodologies (e.g., workshops, role-play, business simulations) across various channels (classroom, online, field).
- Oversee onboarding programs for new partners and continuous learning initiatives for products, services and processes.
- Measure training effectiveness and impact on business results, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Manage international training teams and collaborate with local managers to ensure alignment and engagement.
- Act as a liaison with key stakeholders and committees, ensuring strong communication and partnership.
- Control budgets and oversee the management of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Learning & Development or Retail Training leadership roles.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing international training programs.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
- Expertise in e-learning platforms and modern training methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Availability to travel internationally.
