Overview Of The Learning & Development Advisor Position
We’re looking for a proactive Learning & Development Advisor to lead the delivery of a comprehensive learning service. In this pivotal role, you’ll design and deliver impactful training across all functions, evaluate outcomes to support business goals, and champion innovative learning technologies that enhance development opportunities for all employees.
This is a full time permanent position based at our Monaghan site in Ireland, where you will be reporting into the Head of Compliance.
Responsibilities Of Our Learning & Development Advisor
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the Kingspan Century learning and development strategy.
- Working with stakeholders across all functions to develop learning pathways to ensure effective technical skills are in place in all roles.
- Delivery of training across all Kingspan Century sites related to safe systems of work, ensuring that employees are competent in the safe operation of plant and equipment.
- Drive to maintain a culture of safety within the organisation by promoting adherence to best practices, training, and operational procedures.
- Supporting teams across the business with the maintenance of training records and matrices to ensure compliance with internal and external measures e.g., ISO37301.
- Delivering and monitoring evaluation reports to ensure effective training delivery and return on investment.
- Developing and maintaining reports and delivering against key training metrics as dictated by training programme requirements.
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders from across the business to ensure delivered solutions are fit for purpose.
- Supporting wider L&D team development activity.
- Focus on personal development and maintaining awareness around new L&D approaches to ensure that the team is continually driving for increased performance.
What we are looking for in our Learning & Development Advisor:
You will have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment with responsibility for development across a wide variety of functions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel.
- Full driving licence.
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- CIPD (or equivalent) qualified.
- Psychometric assessment qualification (e.g. Insights, MBTI, DiSC).
- Management experience.
- Experience of budget management and responsibility.
- Experience in the design and delivery of future talent programmes such as Graduate Programmes, Leadership Development.
- Personal 121 coaching experience.
