Salary Range
The hiring target for this position is $126,000 to $140,000 per year. The full salary range for this position is $124,372 to $186,558 per year.

Job Description
The Director of Training supports all operational and leadership training needs, ensuring team members are receiving exceptional training. As a people leader, their team is responsible for needs assessment, design, development, and delivery of employee learning and leadership development including overall program management. They ensure consistency in the delivery and application of training standards across the business and oversees the planning and prioritization of training requirements. In partnership with key stakeholders, they develop new training programs and initiatives, ensuring these programs and initiatives are consistent with the business strategies, objectives, and needs.
This Director will collaborate with senior leadership, HR, station leadership, quality control, customer airlines, airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and others. This senior leader will build and champion learning initiatives across a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and support for all operational training areas including ramp, fleet, customer service, mobility, airport operations and facility/equipment.
- Lead the strategy, development and implementation of leadership learning programs within the organization including creating a comprehensive, dynamic, and scalable workplan.
- Provide direct leadership to the training delivery and development team, including team member coaching and mentoring.
- Work in partnership with the safety and quality control team to ensure team members are being adequately prepared to be safe and successful in the operation. Utilize feedback and audit data to continually improve the operational training program.
- Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure training expectations are met, to identify solutions that support business growth and to reinforcing our commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Develop assessment tools to measure and monitor effectiveness of training to ensure appropriate impact and effectiveness of learning programs and materials while ensuring consistency, accuracy, quality, and transfer of knowledge.
- Track all training records and develop dashboard reporting for all levels in the business.
- Continually analyze business needs and consult other departments on solutions for their immediate and future needs.
- Drive innovative approaches to learning and development through industry insights and innovative adoption of best practices.
- Analyzing internal data to provide insights/recommendations regarding root cause, gaps, and focus areas in partnership with Human Resources, Operations, and Safety.
- Develop and deploy highly visible learning programs that improve leaders' abilities to build high-performing teams and drive organizational performance.

- Performs other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferable in adult education, instructional design, organizational development, human resources, or business-related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 8+ years experience in a learning and development function with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
- Proven ability to influence and drive change aligning people strategy with business goals.
- Demonstrated project management skills and a track record of success in bringing highly complex, cross-functional projects to completion.
- Practical, business-oriented approach to problem solving and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balanced by an appreciation for complexity and risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications as well as a learning management system.
- Professional work ethic and demonstrated ability to work with all work groups while addressing people courageously, directly and candidly.
- Ability to lead and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup and other internal departments.
- Flexibility to support travel (approximately 25%).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience.

Work Location
This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Renton, WA, relocation assistance is available.
