We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Training And Development to lead global talent, learning, and development initiatives across our international footprint. The role is pivotal in shaping our people strategy, building leadership capabilities, and fostering a performance-driven, learning-oriented culture within an established industrial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global Talent & Learning strategy across all regions and business units.
- Design and implement leadership development programs and capability frameworks for people managers and emerging leaders.
- Oversee the global performance management system, ensuring consistency, fairness, and linkage to strategic business goals.
- Build and maintain career frameworks, skills matrices, and succession planning tools across key job families.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify talent priorities and align people initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Manage executive recruitment, compensation proposals, and senior-level negotiations.
- Strengthen partnerships with universities and external institutions to enhance employer branding and talent pipelines.
- Lead corporate academies in collaboration with internal experts and external providers.
- Supervise a distributed team and coordinate local HR stakeholders across multiple countries.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Performance.
- Proven track record in matrixed, global environments (industrial, manufacturing or engineering sectors preferred).
- Strong background in program design, leadership development, and digital learning ecosystems (e.g., Cornerstone).
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence, with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on approach and strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
- International exposure and willingness to travel up to 40%.
