The Opportunity
The Manager, Learning and Engagement will drive our leadership development, skill building and employee recognition strategy as we bring our strategic direction to life of investing in CGMH team members. The successful applicant will collaborate with the Vice President People & Culture to design, implement and evaluate learning, engagement and development initiatives to build our high performing team today and for tomorrow.
Education And Experience
- Undergraduate education in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Education or related field
- Proven track record in designing and leading learning and development and engagement programs particular within a 24/7 environment with a focus on microlearning
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate training with a variety of audiences
- Experience with learning management systems and survey tools
- Passion for inclusive learning and fostering a positive workplace culture with a record of impactful outcomes

- Knowledge of principles of adult learning
- Ability to leverage technology to deliver learning needs that align with leadership development and workforce growth
- Creation of a culture of continuous feedback and recognition based on a values driven and just culture approach
- Partners effectively with Professional Practice, People Services, and Leadership
- Appreciation for Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility principles and engagement across organization
- Strategic approach to managing education budget and deliver maximum opportunities to a variety of team members
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and implement learning strategies for Team CGMH. This includes accountability for elearning modules, micro-learning at huddles, leadership development and ad hoc training needs
- Design and implement Team CGMH’s recognition strategy to ensure that individuals, teams and successes are celebrated, continuing to inspire great work each day
- Collaborate with professional practice to assist in the methodology of delivering education
- Lead CGMH’s responsibilities and initiatives with respect to Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) including being the main contact for AODA reporting and compliance and acting as Chair for the to be re-launched Inclusivity Committee
- Administering and implementing employee engagement surveys, including development of work plans coming from the inputted comments as well as other sources of data and information
- Establish and report on metrics related to learning compliance and effectiveness including the Education Program
- Collaborate on the delivery of General Orientation

Hours of Work: Days, participates in Leadership On-Call rotation following three months of employment. Compensation for on-call includes lieu days.
Wage: $60.35 - $71.58 per hour [$117,689.81 - $139,778.57, per annum]
