We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, Learning and Development Program Manager to design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide learning initiatives that align with our business strategy and employee development goals. As the sole L&D specialist on the HR team, you will play a critical hands-on role in shaping and scaling learning programs across the organization.
This role requires someone who can operate both strategically and tactically - comfortable designing programs from scratch, facilitating sessions, managing vendors, and evaluating learning outcomes.
What You Will Do
Program Design & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of training programs, which can include onboarding, leadership development, technical upskilling, compliance training.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify learning needs and skill gaps.
- Build and maintain learning pathways that support career development and succession planning.
- Incorporate blended learning approaches (ex. eLearning, instructor-led training, microlearning, coaching).
- Iterate program design based on participant and stakeholder feedback.
Facilitation & Communication
- Facilitate engaging learning sessions, workshops, and lunch & learns as needed.
- Develop and manage detailed projects, change management and communications plans, to ensure timely and efficient execution of all program components.
- Serve as an internal consultant to leaders and departments seeking learning support.
- Leverage relationships to drive engagement, increase attendance, and reinforce the value of learning programs through targeted communication and advocacy.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Establish metrics to assess learning impact and business outcomes and use data to refine programs to maximize engagement and impact.
- Manage program correspondence, including responding to participant inquiries and questions, and leverage this feedback and other data to strengthen the overall program experience.
- Stay up to date on trends in adult learning, training technologies, and L&D best practices.
Tools & Vendor Management
- Leverage the existing HRIS (Dayforce) to promote, track, and report on learning activities.
- Source and manage external vendors and content providers where applicable.
- Curate and recommend learning resources (books, podcasts, articles, courses).
What Is Required
- Post-Secondary certificate/degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of experience in learning and development, talent development, or related roles.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating training programs.
- Bilingual in English and French a strong asset to support our Quebec employees.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to influence at all levels.
- Comfort operating independently and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with learning technologies, LMS platforms, and eLearning tools is a strong asset.
