Position Overview
Under broad direction, this role is responsible for maintaining the life cycle of complex learning solutions designed for sales audiences. These may include structured multi-day learning events, blended designs, self-directed learning, multi-course curricula, scenario-based learning, action learning, and media-based learning. The role will also leverage gamification, interactive multimedia, video microlearning, peer-to-peer learning, content curation, and mobile delivery platforms to maximize learning engagement and retention.
The incumbent manages deliverables for current training solutions, oversees evaluation strategies (Levels 1–3), and ensures high-quality content for multiple sales-related retail audiences (inbound call center, retention, retail, multi-dwelling/single-family units, and third-party retail). This role partners with stakeholders to analyze, document, and deliver effective courseware while ensuring alignment to business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the life cycle of existing learning solutions, ensuring relevance, engagement, and effectiveness.
- Design and develop innovative learning experiences across modalities (instructor-led, digital, mobile, blended, microlearning, gamified).
- Partner with clients and SMEs to identify requirements and translate them into effective learning solutions.
- Support quality control, proofreading, and distribution of courseware.
- Collaborate with LMS administration (SumTotal) for testing, migrating, and loading deliverables.
- Contribute to Train-the-Trainer initiatives, ensuring effective adoption of new solutions.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization and prioritization.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick Levels 1–3 methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, or related field.
- 3–5+ years’ experience designing impactful training for varied skillsets with measurable business outcomes.
- Proven expertise in instructional design and rapid prototyping for web-based, digital, virtual, mobile, and instructor-led learning.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools including:
- Articulate Storyline
- Articulate 360 & Rise
- HTML5
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Strong consultative mindset with both strategic and tactical learning development expertise.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging SMEs, leaders, sponsors, and business partners.
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and task analysis skills.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience using multimedia features (audio, graphics, digital photography, animation, gamification).
- Experience developing solutions for mobile learning, microlearning, and blended learning environments.
- Familiarity with sales processes, terminology, and performance-based training design.
