Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Learning and Development and Talent Management Specialist to join our Talent team at Aman’s corporate office in Baar, Switzerland. This exciting role works closely with the Global Head of Talent and the Director of L&D and Quality in designing, administering and delivering innovative talent and learning initiatives that drive performance, engagement and service excellence globally across our hotels and Corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the annual performance management cycle in our HRIS Workday, ensuring timely completion and providing support to leaders and employees.
- Coordinate the global talent review and succession planning process, maintaining accurate talent data for strategic workforce planning.
- Administer employee engagement surveys and track progress on post-survey action plans.
- Support the delivery of training programs, workshops and development initiatives in partnership with the Director of L&D and Quality.
- Maintain learning materials, upload content to the LMS and coordinate training logistics.
- Monitor the participation, engagement and effectiveness of learning programs including recommend improvements.
- Administer our eLearning platforms and track compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Support quality monitoring through guest experience metrics and LQA and Aman Brand standard audits, highlighting trends and follow-up actions. You assist in developing quality-related training materials and maintaining accurate quality records.
- Design the Talent KPI dashboard and assist in tracking and reporting key Talent, L&D and quality metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate HR, Learning and Development or Talent Management, ideally in luxury hospitality or a related industry.
- Hands-on experience in performance management, learning program delivery and engagement survey administration.
- Well versed in LMS and HR systems, prior experience in Workday and LMS preferred.
- Proficient in English; any additional language is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process accuracy and data integrity.
- Proactive, collaborative, and service-oriented, thriving in an ultra-luxury hospitality environment.
- A keen interest in learning about diverse cultures and work ethics to better communicate, understand and collaborate with others on a global level
