About the Role
The Training & Development Specialist supports the design, development, and implementation of training programs across clinical and operational teams. This role works collaboratively with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, engaging, and effective learning experiences. The Training &Development Specialist helps build scalable learning resources to support onboarding, continuous education, and the rollout of new processes and initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials (e.g., presentations, e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids) aligned with adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify training needs and translate those needs into structured learning programs.
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for Care Coordinators, Care Advocates, Clinical Navigators, Health Coaches, and Member Support teams.
- Maintain and update training materials in alignment with evolving SOPs, policies, and workflows.
- Assist in the management and administration of the TailorCare training website and SOP repository to ensure accessibility and relevance of content.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and feedback loops.
- Support special projects related to new market launches, systems rollouts, and compliance-based training.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in learning and development to innovate and enhance learning experience.
- Track and analyze the impact of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data to drive continuous improvement in learning strategies, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.
- Drives Effective Communication by providing timely, clear reports and updates on program effectiveness. Actively shares insights with leadership to improve program results.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or training development, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design
- Proficiency in learning management systems and educational technology platforms
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, care coordination, and population health management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to effectively train diverse audiences
