Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality learning programs are strategically aligned to support business goals and strategies. Additionally, this role is responsible for leading the assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of training initiatives across the organization. Partnering closely with Human Resources and Executive Leadership, the manager will drive performance improvement, support cultural needs, process improvement, and develop short and long-term plans for leadership development.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of adult learning, training trends, and instructional best practices
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of training facilitators and instructional designers
- Coordinate vendor partnerships and internal resources for training grants; manage related documentation, hiring forecasts, and fund tracking
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend learning strategies that support business objectives
- Oversee end-to-end learning program lifecycle, including design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Human Resources and business leaders to support leadership development and organizational culture initiatives
- Lead capacity planning and scheduling for learning and development resources
- Support internal stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding instructional design and original content creation
- Develop and monitor the annual training budget
- Manage and monitor corporate and pharmacy compliance training to ensure accreditation standards are met
- Support the creation and execution of individual development plans and ongoing leadership training programs
- Partner with department leaders to design clients as well as job-specific training content and solutions
- Deliver year-end reporting to executive leadership with measurable outcomes and data-based insights
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Relevant certifications preferred (i.e. SHRM, CPTD, PMP)
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering adult learning programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Articulate 360 or similar authoring tools
- Knowledge of organizational development cultural transformation and process improvement strategies
- Previous leadership experience a plus
- Strongly preferred: Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry

- Skilled in curriculum design and development, training facilitation, and program administration
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment

- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support training programs as needed
Work Environment / Physical Demands
This is an onsite position in our Lakeland corporate office. This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
