We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work as a Learning and Development Specialist for a Property Management company, for a 12-month contract role. This is full time hours and located in Kelowna, BC.
Your new responsibilities:
The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing employee learning and development initiatives that enhance workforce capability and support the organization’s strategic goals. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving corporate learning programs, performance management processes, and employee development planning
- Design and implement engaging and effective learning solutions that support business needs and employee development.
- Develop e-learning modules, training materials, and blended learning programs.
- Facilitation and/or co-facilitation of custom-built learning programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify learning gaps and create targeted development initiatives.
- Lead the administration and continuous improvement of the company’s performance management process, including annual performance reviews, development plans, goal reviews, probation reviews, KPIs, and competencies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
What you need to succeed:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent
- Post Secondary education in adult learning, training, change management and/or project management
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training facilitation, or instructional design
- Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Pro, and design software
