Senior Manager, Talent, Learning, and Development
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager for Talent, Learning, and Development to lead the design, development, and execution of innovative programs that empower our employees and enhance talent performance across DHL eCommerce Americas.

Summary: As the Senior Manager of Talent, Learning, and Development, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture. You will oversee talent management processes, training and learning strategies, leadership development, and succession planning to ensure our workforce thrives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual performance evaluation cycle (LEADS), mid-year check-ins, succession planning, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Design and implement coaching and mentorship programs for leaders and high-potential talent at all levels.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners to identify critical talent, build pipelines, and execute succession strategies.
- Drive leadership development programs that cultivate strong 21st-century eCommerce managers while promoting a culture of respect and results.
- Manage key global talent initiatives such as ADEPT, Empowered, and career planning webinars.
- Integrate engagement topics, belonging culture, and well-being principles into all talent and learning programs, ensuring accessibility and development for all employees.
- Partner with Engagement and Talent Acquisition teams to create enriching learning experiences that support onboarding and long-term growth for new hires.
- Align with the Certified program team on CES training calendars to promote continuous learning and a feedback culture among our eCommerce Specialists.
- Lead the implementation of the Career Marketplace, empowering employees to take charge of their career growth and skill development.
- Oversee training tools and development platforms, including Insights, getAbstract, Learnship, Coursera, and Percipio, creating workshops and courses as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Training team to support learning initiatives for hourly and distribution center employees.
- Manage talent and learning data within My Talent World, utilizing analytics and feedback to identify trends and improve programs. Prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
- Define and track KPIs to assess the effectiveness of learning and talent initiatives.
- Design and distribute the Talent Newsletter, ensuring timely communication about upcoming development events and opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Effectiveness.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
- Proven success in designing, implementing, and scaling talent and development programs across diverse employee populations.
- Familiarity with the My Talent World system is a plus.

- Exceptional relationship management, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to provide consultative advice to business leaders and effectively engage with senior leaders.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and creatively.
- Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to engage various audiences.
- Proven project management experience, adept at managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Familiarity with multimedia platforms for digital communications and web is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Typical physical demands are consistent with a professional office environment.
- Regular sitting at a workstation for 25-75% of the work shift.
- Occasional business travel may be required (<15%).
