About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development Trainer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in designing and delivering engaging training experiences for a distributed workforce, with a focus on screencast-based learning. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and business leaders to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate virtual instructor-led training (vILT) sessions and screencast-based modules for onboarding, upskilling, and compliance.
- Collaborate with SMEs to translate complex content into digestible, learner-friendly formats.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including scripts, job aids, and assessments.
- Use screencast tools (e.g., Loom, Camtasia, Snagit) to create asynchronous learning content.
- Monitor learner engagement and performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
- Support the rollout of new systems, tools, and processes through targeted training initiatives.

Core Competencies
- Instructional Design: Ability to structure content using adult learning principles and Bloom’s taxonomy.
- Virtual Facilitation: Skilled in engaging remote learners via Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms.
- Screencast Proficiency: Experience creating high-quality screencast tutorials using tools like Loom, Camtasia, or Snagit.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and compelling verbal and written communication.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Docebo) and digital collaboration tools.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Uses feedback, assessments, and analytics to refine learning experiences.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years in a corporate L&D or training role.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide software rollouts or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, or other eLearning standards.
- HR, Organizational Development, or Change Management is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $42.00/hr.
