The Role...
To be responsible for all Learning & Development (L&D) activities in London in line with Company standards ensuring we are complaint with all local requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Induction & Onboarding
- To facilitate Company Induction on a fortnightly basis
- To deliver monthly Club School Live
- To ensure on-boarding templates for our most common roles are always up-to-date
- To support with Club School for any new openings or refresh
Learning Modules
- Together with the Senior L&D Manager review and refresh existing modules or create new modules to support with the development of pre-managers, managers, Department Head Development.
- To support with our management training programmes e.g. Sous Chef to Head Chef, Management Trainee
LMS
- To liaise with Security & Safety team for all UK compliance requirements (e.g. Food Safety, Health & Safety, first Aid, Fire Warden, First Aid) ensuring there is are sufficient opportunities for our teams to attend
- To maintain the LMS including liaising with external content suppliers
- To issue monthly reports
Administration
- To compile and issue a monthly report of all London L&D activities
- To create, distribute and promote the monthly Soho Learn Calendar
- To support the House Trainer (L&D rep for site) who are responsible for facilitating and co-ordinating training across the site as and when required
Other
- To attend weekly 1-2-1 with Senior L&D Manager and monthly meeting with L&D team in Europe & Asia.
- To support with any service related initiatives on site
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferable within hospitality environment
- Previous experience creating content related (service, soft skills)
- Is comfortable using and maintaining a LMS
- Is able to work from multiple sites
- Is flexible and can adapt to changes at a fast pace
- Local qualification in Learning & Development
- Strong IT and numeracy skills with experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Ability to switch between a variety of tasks
- Efficient and proactive along with high attention to detail
- Able to work well autonomously, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
