My London-based NHS Trust client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Head of Learning and Development to lead the Trust’s education, training, and staff development functions during a critical period of transition.
This short-term leadership role will act as a vital bridge, ensuring continuity and momentum in shaping a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the Trust’s Learning and Development Strategy.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training requirements.
- Oversee the Learning and Development Team, Apprenticeships, and Mandatory Training functions.
- Design and manage career pathways, talent management frameworks, and leadership development programmes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise education funding and partnership opportunities.
- Champion digital learning and innovation in training delivery.
- Support organisational culture change and staff experience initiatives.
- Represent the Trust in regional and national education and workforce forums.
